DAY 1: REACH COLOMBO BY NOON (10th December, 2016)
We land in Colombo around noon, and head straight to our Hotel in Negombo. We are free to relax by the pool, head to the beach, rest in the room, get an ayurvedic massage, or chill with a beer!
We head out in the evening to pick up our bikes, our companions for the rest of our tour!
Overnight in one of the best guesthouses in Negombo with swimming pool & walkable distance from the beach!
DAY 2: COLOMBO TO KANDY (115 kms) (11th December, 2016)
We start early from Negombo toward the Central hill city of Kandy. Known for the famous Temple of the Tooth & Kandy lake, Kandy is situated 500 m above sea level, amidst dense rainforests, tea plantations and hills. We can go visit the famous temple, stroll along the lake, or just walk down the burstling city's market in the evening.
Overnight at a hotel overlooking Temple of the Tooth and Kandy Lake.
Ride time: 3-4 hours under normal conditions.
DAY 3: KANDY TO NUWARA ELIYA (80 kms) (12th December, 2016)
Today's ride is all about tea plantations, winding roads with brilliant tarmac, pleasant breeze & meeting people of the hill country! We start the day after a visit to Kandy Lake and reach Nuwara Eliya early in the evening. A visit to the famous tea factory of Nuwara Eliya, chilling by the splendid lake that looks like straight out of a post card, and we retire to our homestay!
Overnight at the guesthouse close to city centre, surrounded by tea estates.

DAY 4: NUWARA ELIYA TO KATAGAMUWA, Yala National Park (150 kms) (13th December, 2016)
An early start from Nuwara Eliya and we descend from the gorgeous hills towards one of the best National Parks of the Island Country- Yala! We will have to call it a night early so as to reach the Yala entry point in time to do the magnificent 4-hour Safari through the thick jungles of Yala tomorrow. Elephants & leopards are not a rare sight during Safaris in Yala National Park!
Overnight at one of the most incredible camps close to the jungle!
Ride time: 4-5 hours under normal conditions.
DAY 5: KATAGAMUWA TO TANGALLE (95 kms) (14th December, 2016)
We start the day very early, to the start point of the Safari at Yala National Park. After a 4-hour safari, where we hopefully get to sight all the beautiful wild animals, we have lunch and start riding towards the southern coast of Sri Lanka! From here on, its beaches, beaches & more beaches!
Overnight at a very high rated hotel in Tangalle, close to the beach.
Ride time: 2.5-3 hours under normal conditions.
DAY 6: TANGALLE TO UNAWATUNA (80 kms) (15th December, 2016)
While its a short ride to Unawatuna, the enire stretch of 80 kms is lined up with beautiful beaches, every few kms! We can stop where we want, chill where we want, basically decide how we want to cover these 80 kms.
Overnight at a beautiful beach side resort with swimming pool!
Ride time: 2 hours
DAY 7: AROUND UNAWATUNA (30 kms) (16th December, 2016)
We have the whole day to ourselves, to explore the quaint little town of Galle, go deep-sea diving, go whale watching, or just chill around the hotel or the beach! Unawatuna offers some beautiful places to view sunset in the whole of Sri Lanka!

DAY 8: UNAWATUNA TO BENTOTA (70 kms) (17th December, 2016)
This short ride also is lined with beaches after beaches, one of the more famous ones being Hikkaduwa. We could have lunch here and head further towards Bentota.
Overnight at a beautiful hotel overlooking the backwaters of Bentota.
Ride time: 1.5-2 hours
DAY 9: BENTOTA TO NEGOMBO (115 kms) (18th December, 2016)
The relatively longer ride compared to the last few days. We set out straight to check out the beautiful city of Colombo. Head to the rental agency at Negombo, hand over the bikes and off we go to the Airport.
No Hotel has been booked in Negombo.
